1-꾸준히 착한일을 행하라
Always try to be good person;
Continue to work for good things.
착한일을 하는 사람에게는 하늘이 복 으로써 갚고, 악한
일을 하는 사람에게는 하늘이 재앙으로써 갚는다.
Heaven gives blessing to good people, while heaven gives
misfortune to those who are bad.
착함이
작다하여 아니하지 말고, 악함이 작다 하여 하지말라.
Do not
even attempt minimal evil.
Do
attempt even minimal good.
하루라도 선함을
생각지 아니하면 모든 악이 다 스스로 일어난다.
If you
don’t think of good things daily, bad thing will
arise.
착한일을
보거든 목마른 것같이 하고, 악한 일을 듣거든 귀머거리같이 하라.
If you see good things,
be thirsty for more; if you hear
bad things, ignore them.
평생동안
선을 행하여도 선함은 오히려 부족하고, 하루 동안 악을 행하여도 악함은 스스로 남음이 있다.
Even if you do good
things forever, you can always do more; if you do bad things once, it will stay
with you
forever.
나에게
착하게 하는 사람에게도 내 또한 착하게 하고, 나에게 악하게 하는 사람에게도 내 또한 착하게 해야한다.
내가 이미 남에게 악하게 함이 없으면, 남도 나에게 악하게 할수 없을 것이로다.
Be kind to those who
treat you well, also be kind to those who treat you badly. If you did not evil
to others, then
they can
not be evil to you.
하루동안
선을 행함에 복은 스스로 이르지 아니하나 재앙은 스스로 멀어지고, 하루동안 악을 행함에 재앙은 비록 이르지 아니하나 복은 스스로
멀어진다.
If you do a good thing in
one day, you will not received
immediate blessings, yet you will avoid misfortune. If you do a bad thing in
one day, you will not receive immediate misfortune, but you will miss
blessings.
